Apart from anything else I'd have thought walking about Scotland and England would have been a bit taters in the altogether!

I never thought of it like that, divebuddy.

I can't think why!
I'm also in the silent majority here.

A part of me silently salutes this guy. yes he's clearly barking, but is he actually harming anyone?
I agree with divebuddy. I once heard a woman, in a discussion over breastfeeding in public, say, "It's the most natural thing in the world", to which I replied, "so is having a slash or taking a dump, but I don't do that in public, do you?"
Fail to see the connection there divebuddy?

One is clearly a health hazard the other isn't.
Same answer to blackadder too.
I suppose he's not harming anyone - unless he salutes back
Depends on what you would call harm i suppose. Personally I wouldn't want any of my little child relatives having to observe him waggling around in from of the school gates, nor striding through a shopping centre.

Have a look at this twits Wiki entry....barking mad doesn't even begin to describe him.

I am not talking about this man in particular but if public nudity were the norm I see no way that reverting to our natural state (ie naked) should mean we then forget the rules of sanitation and common decency - the two don't follow.
>>>being totally unconcerned that they might offend the majority

Anyone who ever considers what other people might think is a total fool. You should always simply 'be yourself' and to hell with what anyone else might think.
I wouldn't be all that bothered about him walking past me or mine, sure i'd be gobsmacked, afterall, it's not something you see everyday is it? And Mini Boo for sure would be amazed, and probably embarrassed, but she wouldn't be scarred for life from it, I highly doubt any child would be.
QED, Chico.
That's very sweeping Chris. Being myself does include concern for what others think.
/If you would be happy to see him walk naked down your local high street or past your front door would you be equally happy if he took a dump on your lawn.

dive
i agree the 'it's natural' argument is a tad thin but i'm not sure how the impact of someone walking past your house naked is equal to them leaving a pile of excrement on your lawn.

I wouldn't want the neighbour's dog doing that, but i don't insist they put the animal into trousers.

Perhaps an equivalent is having sex - which, like nudity is also natural

Naturists are very clear that public nudity is good, but sexual activities need to be somewhere private
mikey... any one reading many of your posts on here might thing you "Barking" as well. The guy has made some lifestyle choices, isn't that something we are all allowed to do???
blackadder

so you equate feeding a baby with producing faeces and urine?

classy
Crazy comparison comparing breast feeding with taking a dump.

Why are (some) people assuming he'd defecate in the street? I accept he's have to whilst out in the wilds somewhere (as would we all!) but I'm pretty sure if he was in a town he'd find public toilets like everyone else does.

Well the thing about clothing is, if you thought you were going to break wind, but were mistaken, it is slightly less embarrassing.
