If they last over twice as long does that mean they collect twice as many germs as the ones we have now.
also more 'coke'on them
depends, how many germs are on yours at present, the shedman?

I'll give you ten minutes to count them. Don't miss the little ones with eight legs and a moustache.
The other half doesn't let me keep them long enough to count germs on mine. I think she only loans it to me to save her from carrying it lol.
Would a number of them fold neatly in a wallet, in the same way as paper money, or would there be a slight spring to it?
they are as bendy as paper
The Isle of Man tried them years ago, but eventually stopped using them
forgotten the reason why

I remember the Australian noted folded, but didn't crease.

/// they are as bendy as paper ///

They well maybe as bendy as paper, but being plastic do they spring back?
I've got one in my hand now (Australian). It springs back more than a paper one (but a newish paper one does spring back too). It does crumple, but not as easily as a paper one, and retains the crumple marks less. It has a slightly silky feel to it, and a shine that reflects light mroe than paper.

It looks horrible, but that's the Australians for you: a sort of yukky reddish colour on the $5.
You can fold a paper bill and it will stay folded. This is not so with a polymer bill.
I'm trying to fold a Bulgarian 2 lev note, stewey, but it keeps unfolding. It's made of ordinary banknote paper, newish but not mint-fresh.
You mean-it's NOT all the fault of Europe ? Be careful mate you're probably making enemies !!
16.08. most apropos for the Ozzies, I would conclude, jno.....a yukky reddish colour - bit like most of them after 20 XXXX beers.
I've experienced these in Singapore. As mentioned, they don't fold well. and tend to spring back open. Nuisance when trying to handle a wad of them.
I wonder how often anyone really carries money, nowadays.

Even buying drinks in a pub, you just swipe your card.

You even swipe a card in places like McDonalds and Starbucks.
I use mainly cash.

Do they stain?

If not how do they protect them with the dye if robbed from security?
