friedgreen - sorry to digress here but was looking for your reply at to what vets you would have recommended to me re the dog. Going to vets today to get stitches out and am not looking forward to it. thanks for your answer
Ratter....you have for the support of our Helen........you have made it...;-)
Sqad? Any need for that comment?
ummmm....it took you 3 mins to think of that......you are slipping.
Just like to put in my two penneth for what it's worth.I am fully in support of civil ceremonies for same sex couples which give rights to a surviving partner. So when the other dies and this prevents grabbing relatives claiming what the surviving partner is entitled to e.g. a shared property. However calling it marriage is changing a concept which is several thousand years old and won't be done easily by people like Mr. Slippery forcing it on the country.
No it didn't take me 3 minutes, it was instant.

No need to be so bitchy.
Sqad, with your views on marriage and being faithful, you should keep quiet!

Sqad - kiss my arse!
I think the divide is an age thing.. the older generation are not as accepting as the rest of us.
LOL
Could be that with age come wisdom Sara, it is amazing how ones views change as they get older.
With age, comes wisdom.
As the AB whippersnappers will learn in time.
I hope that when I get old my opinions won't change.

Our money is worth the same regardless of race/colour/religion/sexual orientation.
I don't think I'm going to become anti gay marriage as I get older! I'm not planning on being a grumpy old woman.
Snap, Brenden. ;)

So true, I used to be far more intolerant, these days I am certainly more accepting of things that actually don't affect me and I have learned to live and let live and to try not to be a bigot!
did your views change then, Brenden? I doubt you've ever felt any differently about such issues...
One has to laugh at mikey . . . ///Its nobodies business if two people want to get married, apart from the people involved. Not my business or yours.///

Really! Then why is it all over the papers and television?

Aniother own goal mikey.
Just reading through the last few posts here, I don't think younger generation here will change their minds as they get older because they are being brought up to accept things far more than the older generation of some years back. A case of conditioning imo and some older people find certain things harder to accept methinks.
