OK, it might not seem much, but I've finally managed to get myself an avatar. At least I can say I've achieved something this year! Belated Happy New Year to all ABers.

Giveup:
The usual problems are
(i) using different email addresses when registering for AB and Gravatar. (They MUST be the same);
(ii) failing to allocate a 'G' rating to the avatar; and
(iii) forgetting to activate the avatar via 'My Profile'

I dont know what a gravatar is,I'm not good with technical things,still have problems with my DVD recorder.My old aunt would have said "bit thick,always was"

Giveup:
Gravatar is a website which hosts avatars. When you sign in to AB, AB's server looks up your email address and sends a message to Gravatar which says "Have you got an avatar associated with this address?". If there is one, Gravatar sends it back to AB, so that it can be displayed next to your username.
