Morning all from a very windy, but dry, NW Wales. Time to batten down the hatches as heavy rain and high winds are due during the day. Never mind - it is Friday after all!!

good morning Welshyorkie, from way over on the other side of the country - in East Anglia.

it's going to be very hot and sunny here today and tomorrow -- the weather you are about to endure will be here tomorrow evening.

have a good day anyway.
Good morning both. Daughter in Canberra on her summer hols with a friend and it's snowing there for the first time in 10 years.

Guess she'd better not buy a lotto ticket this week!

Morning Excel - it's going to be a very long day, big job to do today and wanted to get some peace and quiet, plus I can do a bit of CB while programs are running in the background. Will have to be away by 6 though.

Good morning BlueToffee - don't believe we've met. Everton fan by any chance? Must be weird to have snow in August, probably one reason I couldn't emigrate to the other side of the world!!
Fairly new to this site WelshYorkie, and yes, blue through and through!
hello BlueToffee.
we have never spoken before, i have an uncle in Melbourne and i hear the weather there has been freaky recently.

have a very good day
Thank you excelcior.
good morning too you all! have a great weekend

BT - well, each to their own!! I don't go to matches much these days, my home town team (York City) begin life this season back in the Football League where they belong (even though they were always up for re-election in the old Division 4!). Soory, but my fave Premiership team is the other side of Stanley Park but probably goes back to the days of Shankly when I was an impressionable teenager!!

Morning bernie - you too m8

I do admire what David Moyes has done with the little he has been given. I am surprised he hasn't gone to a bigger club with a bigger budget though.
Think DM is biding his time to replace AF at United

Do you think they would go for him and not promote from within?
Morning' from Barnsley WY, morning all....looking a bit dodgy weatherwise but it'll keep me out of the garden :-)
Friday again so fish chips 'n mushies at the Wetherby Whaler...Senior Citizen special heh heh!

Nice one all. Nice to meet you Blue..
I bet he's favourite amongst the bookies to take over, and quite honestly, I wouldn't blame him, he's done a superb job at Everton with little to spend.

Just hope we start this season off with 3 points!
Thank you commoner, you too.

Ay up, commoner. Fridays when i was a kid was one of each (and a load of scraps) and a carton of mushy peas - smothered in Hammonds Chop Sauce - oooh I can taste 'em now!!!
morning all, its so quiet, hot & still. Only song of mozzie to disturb the peace.
Lol Not the one raisin curry sauce then WY? jeez that was good!

Mushy peas when Peter Mendleson saw some in a fish shop he thought it was guacamole :-))
