Read the books about MJ, Eddie. I don`t think things are that simple..
Can't in honesty see that the man is a 'threat to the public'- he's hardly likely to go round stabbing random people with syringes full of tranquilisers is he? Poor excuse not to grant bail.
I can't see that happening either NOX. I also can't see what a prison sentence can do, he should be banned from practicing for life. I think that would be enough of a sentence.
I agree Dolt. I suspect that Conrad Murray will get a custodian sentence though.
*custodial*
Is this seriously the HEADLINE of the BBC News tonight - bloody ridiculous?
Sentence - max 4 years - good behaviour discounted 10% as its federal - if CA state then 50%......we could do with a ten per discount only here for major crimes.
Why is it it ridiculous? Regardless of your feeling about him or his music he was still considered the King of Pop....
I hope so 327sj, he's not going to be a treat to anyone after this verdict.
DT, why is it "ridiculous"???? Michael Jackson was/is very important to a hell of a lot of people.
I certainly didn't regard him as the king of pop!

A kiddie fiddler, he should have been banned from the airwaves like Gary Glitter
ABLE^
Italy going under, Flip, the impact on all of us economically and politically - seriously, MJ should be second....
You might not have, I might not have....but many did, and I think his record sales reflected that. That is life...
Hopkirk, GG was found guilty, MJ was found NOT GUILTY!
It's for one evening DT....One evening!!!
Is there no-one you can telephone to complain about the order of the news items, DTC?
Yes, the man who swung his kid from the balcony of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, ummmm; what a wonderful role model you advocate. I am so under-impressed.
Oh do be quiet DT....and please do not tell me who I advocate for pointing out how popular he was.
DT, yes but that isn't anything new... unlike this. There are millions of people who have been following this trial for weeks.

Hoppy, that's in poor taste. He was found not guilty. To even mention his name alongside Gary Giltter's is disgusting.
