Wow, that was very quick. I was only looking at the telly a few minutes ago. Does this mean he gets away with it, or is there a sentence?
4 years I believe.....out in 3.6 if it is a federal crime as you only get 10% off over there for good behaviour....maybe they should do that here.

yet to be sentenced
I was a Jackson fan for years. The Chandler episode though changed my view on him and that view is unchanged.

As for the doctor. Probably 'guilty' in the sense that he kept pumping Jackson with drugs because he didn't want to get the sack by saying no.

Johnny, it's been going on for weeks?
Stay tuned (sky news) and you'll get your answer :-)
I can't help feeling he is being used a 'scape goat'.
Question Author
sentencing will take place on November 29th
Care to elaborate?
Sorry I did not mean the trial was quick. I meant that bibblebub's posting was speedy as have not heard the news on televison yet.

Does this explain the confusion over my thread?
Just heard this on the radio. I suppose he`ll get the four years (max). In some way, I feel a little bit sorry for that guy. I think he has been a scapegoat. I have recently finished reading J Randy Taraborrelli`s biog of MJ and from what I can acertain, MJ knew exactly what was happening to his health as far as taking strong drugs werre concerned. MJ seemed to be someone who got whatever he wanted and he was surrounded with "yes" men. There was a school of thought that said Conrad Murray was trying to wean MJ off those drugs. Another school of thought said that Conrad Murray wasn`t the first doctor who had prescibed those drugs. My feeling is that ultimately Micheal Jackson was his own worst enemy.
I can't imagine anyone winning against the force of the Jacksons.. he bought his way out of serious charges.. they became "untouchable".

poor choice of word, I know!
Doesn't that judge rabbit on!!!
Question Author
untouchable? is that why they sang "can you feel it?"
God, that sheriff couldn't wait to get the handcuffs on.
I can't help but feel that Conrad Murray was undone by his own greed.
Although he has been found guilty, I don't suppose we will ever really know the truth of what happened on that night.
I bet if he was a white Dr he'd get away with it.
Only Joking!
