Would there be any place for a think-tank made up of former Prime Ministers?
Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron, May, Johnson, and Truss, are surely all too wise and learned to be allowed to moulder on the scrapheap.

They are all available to be consulted and are in effect already a "think tank".
Blair's a very busy boy.
//are in effect already a "think tank".//

More like a septic tank methinks. :))
If they were that good they would still be in office.
lankeela: "If they were that good they would still be in office." - probably the most moronic statement so far today.
Surely a Truss Think-tank would be an oxymoron?

While some of those PMs were better than some others, they generally were not super intelligent. They were good because they surrounded the selves with very clever people and listened to the advice. Something the last two markedly didn’t do, with unfortunate results.
It wouldhave to be a much larger place than it might have been a few years back.
Is seven a record?
Boris could give advice on hard hats and high vis vests.
Yes, seven living ex-Prime Ministers is a record.
gromit: "Yes, seven living ex-Prime Ministers is a record. " - indeed and not one real Labour that must be a record too.
Brown might have been "real" Labour if he hadn't been such a tit.
Are you seriously suggesting Johnson and May could sit and work together?
Hopkirk Those two could decide on the wallpaper. :0)
TTT,
Labour positioned themselves in the centre under Blair, but it is extremely silly to suggest that they were not still Labour. Cameron did exactly the same thing to get elected, but no one seriously suggests he wasn’t a Conservative PM.
