So why is it Tim Tim Tim being interviewed.matty is hardly getting noticed.
He did look a bit miffed as Daley was talking about his Life.

Yes, Tom did well and I was pleased for him and then I saw a clip of him being proud of his win and also for being a 'gay man' ! Why did he feel the need to bring his sexuality into it .......

As has already ben said, this was Tom's 4th attempt at winning an Olympic Gold - possibly his last - so he is the story. When Steve Redgrave was winning his golds, Pincent and the rest of the rowers hardly got a sniff when it came to media attention.
Andy Murray and Joe Salisbury are through to the QFs of the tennis tournament. Should they go on to lift gold, who do you believe the press will aim 75% (and more) of their questions to?

Pleased for Tom but felt sorry for Adam Peaty who won the UKs first gold medal and it was a back to back win, but Tom Daley got all the headlines. I did feel uncomfortable seeing his 'celebrations' though.
