We were lucky enough to see her live at the Palladium, just a short while before she died. The concert had already been cancelled once and we thought we would be unlucky. Absolutely fabulous, and truly glorious, really enjoyed the evening.

One of the very best female vocalists of the last century. Truly beautiful voice. From a purely technical standpoint, she had absolutely perfect pitch. Perfect. Very, very few singers have this. Most waver quite around the centre of a note but not Carol. Exquisite to listen to.
