Monday. The biblical deluge the weather forecasters promised didn't happen. As predicted by the link minty posted yesterday. It was another hot and sultry day. I'm not complaining, I love it!

Just a wee bit of running around today, the last full day of snowflakes holiday, she goes home tomorrow.

You got the heavy end when it comes to pollen. You have my sympathy on that. I've never had it, but I have seen the misery of people that do. Vera never had a problem with it either.

I remember you saying minty. But I can't understand why it's taken so long.

A while ago friends of ours put in a planning request for something similar, got the OK in two weeks. Job done and dusted in less than a month.

Not a lot can be done about that minty. I can't see any reason it should take so long. I'm sure they have their reasons, i.e. sheer incompetence!
