Just a thought. Was given a note from my doctor to make an appointment at a hospital. So went to the web site as required and find it only operates between the hours of 0800 to 2000! What's the good of having an automated system which closes down? As someone in either the Beano or Dandy declared-- Eh daft I call it!

Got through today and guess what? I was told that I should receive a note within 14 days of an appointment and, if I don't get an appointment, I have to go back to my GP and get him to restart the whole scenario again. Why have a website which doesn't work as one would expect? In fact, what use is the website?
Why can't your Doctor refer you to the Hospital himself, surely he has a Computer !!
Never encountered problems like that myself
Sounds a nightmare. Surely it should be the doctor that refers you, anyway?
I presume you are using the 'Choose and Book' system - if not happy speak to your GP again about taking a different route.
