We have finally been accepted by the Welsh Government for the grant to have satellite broadband fitted !!!

Currently our best speed obtainable is 0.8 mps but usually around 0.5 making any vids, youtube etc. almost un-watchable and everything else is just dire.

We will be happy when it is fitted next week :-)

I am very happy for you and pleased that you have been accepted as a recipient for the grant you've been wanting. All the best to you and your family, and your new home and business.
Super!

Did you ever look into the satellite-dish option?
How are the hounds settling in? Did you take your chickens with you or do they make you buy Welsh chickens?
whoooop :-)

Ab Editor, "Did you ever look into the satellite-dish option?" that is what we are having installed.

wolf63, "Did you take your chickens with you or do they make you buy Welsh chickens?" We had the chickens all crated up to come with us, when we went to load them in the minibus it was so hot we didn't think they would have survived the journey so we gave them to our neighbour who also keeps a lot of chickens, we now have about 50 welsh chickens, these are all breed and some rare breed chickens and eggs in the incubator that will be hatching soon :0)
Ratter

I suppose that transporting loads of chickens in hot conditions would have been a noisy and stressful affair.... for both human and chicken.

actually chickens usually travel very well, we were so disappointed to not be able to take them but in that temperature on a 5 hour journey they would have really suffered and possibly died . We made the right decision.
Good news Ratter ! How are you both after your sad loss ? Xx
Question Author
MM, we are fine thanks, just very busy contacting friends and relatives and organising things, biggest problem is tracing family and friends scattered around Ireland and Germany, the funeral is next Wednesday, so then we can start getting back on track again.
So much to do at these times ....Will be thinking of you xx
How's the little pony doing? Charlie, is it?
sorry to ask this, ratter, but who has passed away? I haven't been on here that much recently, so bear with me!
Cara' s mum DT...
Thanks, minty....

sorry to hear that, Ratter and Cara.....I am sure plenty of folk have said it, but focus on the happy/good times that you had together.........
My sincere condolences to cars and all your family ratter.

Pixie, we have two miniature horses, Maisie and Charlie, they are both little treasures and doing really well, all the animals are a real plus for us and a great therapy for Carakeel.

Thanks everybody again for all your good wishes.
