Eminem is NOT a singer in my opinion - he's a rapper. Talking through a song is not singing.

When rap was "invented" ...... whoever devised the name rap, missed a letter off ...... just my opinion ..........

Eminem is a top rapper, because his raps are so skillfully constructed and delivered.

My favourite singers vary every day - right now it's Dusty Springfield, probably going to be Leonard Cohen tomorrow.

Karl. you may think that he's a good "artist" - that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but he's def NOT a singer.
In my opinion, there's a HUGE difference between singers and rappers ..... and Eminem is def not a singer.

I think my fave female singer would be Nicola Hitchcock.
Male singer Tom Baxter.

karl - i can see giz's point - Eminem's tracks have music on them, but he does not sing per se, therefore he is not technically a 'singer' - but that does not in any way detract from his skill as a writer and rapper - it just confirms that he does not sing over the music on his tracks, he raps.
