Glad to hear it....you are loads braver than me.

Well it was that or lose my sight. I think it was easier this time because I knew what was coming and I just focused on other things and bam it was done
Well done QofM. Sometimes its worse when you know whats coming and othertimes its easier because you're less nervous. You're more than half way through the treatment now - thats the main thing.
There are a few people on here who thought you would not make it. That is one in the eye for them!

Well done, queenofmean; we are all thinking of you here.

That is the main thing I'm half way there. I just hope the remaining treatments are done quickly so its out of the way. I didn't find my right eye as painful as the left - so I want that one out the way ASAP
well done you, the only way is upwards now......or is that the right way?

I must go to Specsavers one of these days!
Keep going. Best of luck!
Question Author

pleased to hear you have had it done...no choice!!

I have just finished reading your previous thread, last night, with nungate,
that was hilarious. I was wondering if you were in the same house at the time
or in your own houses. Could imagine one upstairs, the other downstairs!!xx
Good for you, you will be pleased when it is over.

Glad you enjoyed the banter last night Chi, yeah we live together I frequent upstairs and she downstairs.
Chi, you are right, I am her mum I only see her in the evenings when she comes down to raid the fridge or watch some tv programme that we both like.
Not sure what she was laughing at me for - yes I do, last time we went I was bored with all the hanging around and wished I'd taken my kindle, I remembered it today but when I got there it was needing charged! Thankfully she had her i-pod which has books on it so I was allowed to read something on that - got through 3 chapters of Jane Austen's Persuasion (I read quickly) I will be better prepared for the next appointment. Mind you the best bit of the afternoon was when she tried (at my urging) to move our car forward into a proper parking space when her dad nipped out on an errand. I think he's been buying "bouncy" petrol we didn't exactly drive/ease forward the few feet as bounce into it!
good evening, queenofmean. i've just got home from work.

i'm glad things are progressing for you, and that you are keeping us informed.
thank you.

I had some laser treatment for my Glaucoma to relieve the pressure in the eye a few weeks back, may need more. Glad you are getting things sorted bit by bit, if I lose my independence I am sunk.

Take care hun ♥
Hi, Excel, not too sure if she's still about, she may have gone to bed already or she may playing catch up with episodes of Castle somewhere online, if she doesn't pop back here tonight I shall pass on your good wishes. It seemed to go well today and I thought that might have been the end of the treatment but she needs another two visits one for the right eye and the second for the left - the right one was a nightmare the last time but hopefully it may not be as bad second time around. As I keep telling the alternative is to awful to contemplate
well done QM, the thought of it makes me queasy, but as you say - needs must!
hello nungate.

thank you for that response.
