Tom Petty!!!

At last! Tom Petty And The heartbreakers are playing a London show in June, and I am down to interview him and Milke Campbell.

I can't wait - I bought his first album the week it was out, and saw him as the support act on Nils Lofgren's tour, and never got to see the band since.

I am so excited - anyone else a fan?

After thirty-one years of meeting famous musicians, I am yet to be 'star struck' - but I think when I am shown into the prescence, I may just blush and blabber!!

Hi fliptheswitch - yes, I write for a number of magazines as a freelance music writer.

i will be interviewing Tom - if they can get some time with him - for Guitar Buyer Magazine - I am so excited, I just hope it happens!

Hi Flip - it should be at the gig, which is at the Albert Hall, or it may be at his hotel, or if there is a lot of demand, they hire a room in a hotel for the day, and march the press in one at a time - i hate those because you usually have a record company person looking at their watch all the way through.
