Other than price is there anything to choose between RAC, AA and Green Flag in terms of comparable cover etc?

It's really a case of comparing the various options. Some will cover any car in which the member is a driver or a passenger, for example. The AA and the RAC have many other benefits in addition to breakdown cover, which may or may not be useful to you.

I own several cars, so I go with the AA as they cover me not a specific car. I can't fault their service and their price for a multi car family is good. Just a point, don't accept the first price the give you, my brother got them to reduce their price after getting lower quotes from other companies,

cheers very much!
try britannia rescue. ive always found them better than aa or rac

being a RAC patrol , i can say the AA or RAC would better suit anybody rather Brittania Res' or Green Flag.

Main reason is we carry consumables and spare parts , most of which are free of charge if we can get you running and save money towing you.

We dont charge labour for fitting parts , Brittania would look like giving you great service by taking you straight to the garage where the labour hourly rate looms.

Plus to be straight i worked at a private agency , other men working the flat beds were no more than washing machine fitters and truck drivers with no mechanical skills at all.

All RAC and AA guys have no chance of driving that van unless they are professional mechanics and competant of diagnosing or fixing cars
