Hi, I didnt know where to post my question,so ill try here.

I have natwest advantage gold account that come with breakdown cover (green flag). In not so many words, natwest said that I neednt bother taking out AA cover as green flag cover with my account is 5*. Just reading the little bit of info (about 2 lines worth), it says homecall comes as standard. Well, my husband is broken down in my car 160 miles away as hes been looking after his poorly mum and cant get back tomorrow. Does my natwest green flag cover him?

Thanks.

Ring greenflag and ask them. I am with them and I can't faut them. It depends on what cover you have.
...I would ask either Green Flag or Natwest to send you the full T&C's, for future reference. Otherwise, your cover doesn't mean very much.
Green Flag cover the car not the driver so he should be ok.
It will depend on the small print, does it say it covers a car if you are not in it?

Ahoo, just read small print. Yes its the car they insure which is good, but will only tow it 10 miles if they cant fix it, looks like he'll be pushing it for 150 miles then! AA have just shut, so cant take out a new membership. Could do it tomorrow but cant use it for the first 24 hours I think. Doh, wheres the vino.
natwest cover is pretty poor I have to say. I have taken out cover through my insurers and use whichever is best at time of breakdown
