morning all, its another early start, i hope you are all well and in good spirits, the weekend is here again, the time just flies by doesn't it.....
i have no plans other than tomorrow, i am off to the local church where they are holding a lunch after the service, which i won't be attending, as a non believer it would be hypocritical to do so, so i will take my little contribution to the feast.
you are encouraged to bring something along - so it will likely be what i can find in the supermarket, quiche, scotch eggs or sausage rolls, which is what i brought along before. Its too cold now to sit outside as we did back in August. So will have our repast in an area of the church, there used to be a cafe at one time but that's closed now, which is a shame.
Keeping well Emmie?
Hope lunch tomorrow is enjoyable.
Another drizzly day down here, raining off and on, has been for a couple of days now.
Haven't had as much as forecasted but a nice change.
Fingers crossed that will happen.
I'm having problems with Medicare, our version of NHS.
Apparently I'm not the person they think I am.
Convincing them is becoming tiresome.
Should I give up?
I have no idea, all they tell me is the information I supply doesn't match the information they have but they can't tell me why.
Privacy laws, etc. etc. and the possibility I could be trying to steal personal information.
Grrrrr.
Let's change the subject before I have a total melt down.
So, will you be perusing the local shops finding a contribution to tomorrows lunch?
Maybe a cheese and fruit platter for pre-lunch nibbles?
i will go early this morning and see what's on offer, it has to be something i can carry easily, its why i thought of sausage rolls etc, and what the people will eat.
