Talbot Sunbeam, car of the year?

Words fail me.
Terible Talbot as it was known at the time!............I've been called worse.

That Fiat 124 handled like a dream and went like a train.
It ate Spitfires and MGB's for breakfast.
The boot was cavernous and there was lots of room inside. I can't remember having any mechanical problems with it other than a duff radiator and it served me very well until someone rear ended it on Richmond bridge. Mind you, this was nigh on 40 years ago and expectations of a car were less.

Gotta agree with that, Hopkirk. There are one or two others that I find difficult to believe was a European car of the year as well.
