Bobbi, a few years ago I was on the HGVs Picked a load of Bulk bandages up from Burnley Lancs & delivered to Preston Dock, shipped out to China they came back in package form & that was cheaper than getting them done in the UK! does that make sense?
It's called Globalisation.
TWR, I see where you're coming from, it's both annoying and frustrating when you can't actually call, say, your local bank anymore, services we took for granted have disappeared now
Barmaid, I have arthritis in my back - have done for years and years. The fall was the final straw. I now have a visible hump on my back which I hate (although others say it's not very noticeable) and have lost an inch in height. Like you it has left me with lots of problems.
Oh dear. I knew I shouldn't have got up this morning!!! :o(

Sorry.
Please all report me!!

Last time I was put through to an overseas call centre the person said they couldn't understand me.
Trigs, what would I do without you!! x
Perhaps it's time for everyone to ask for "Made in Britain" goods and not go for the cheapest option. And patronise banks who advertise call centres are local.
i put 'mad ole bat' instead :-)
That'll do Fluffy. I admit to it!!
I don't care where a call centre is based as long as the people in them speak perfect English and we can understand each other. If I get good service then that is all I ask for.
Actually, I agree with Trigs ^.
