What happened to you that hurt ... a lot?

I ask this because apparently chuck rode a motorbike into a fence ... more details to follow? ... and that HAD to hurt!

Thrown from horses...resulting in broken collarbone (twice)
broken arm
broken wrist
tooth abscess
pitchfork in forehead (don't ask)

Loads of things actually.

But the worse for pain was an epidural that went wrong. I am not going into details, but at the time I really wanted to die.

But the second worse was a fractured vertebrae when I slipped on the stairs and landed three stairs down on the edge of a stair on the middle of my back with my legs up in the air!!

Nar, nowt that exotic. Messing about in stables as a kid with my friend as we were mucking out one of our horses and she lobbed a pitchfork of straw over her shoulder....

I was stood behind her.

It wasn't an accident, but having a heart operation. I didn't realise how bad the pain would be after (due to having chest bone broken during surgery).

I last got hurt about 3 days ago. I slipped on chicken poo on the patio in open toed shoes and smacked my toe into a wall. It hurts and is a fairly nasty colour.

Not as bad however as about a month ago when I walked head first at speed into a patio door. Luckily I had my head slightly down else I would have bust my nose.

oh, ive also fallen down, (backwards) a ruddy great big hole in a new section of motorway being built that i was walking across, again, horses involved!

Childbirth hurts a little, but have to say that i think worst was falling off a little ladder and smacking my leg, the bruise was there for weeks and the pain took ages to go.

Had a nasty fall off my horse when I was 15 or 16. Landed with my back across a rock hard tractor rut. Couldn't actually walk for a while and was just struggling to my feet when my mother came to find me about 2 hours later.

Accident in the pit resulted in fractured femur, in two places, lots of skin and muscle damage two months in hospital, another ten months off work and I still get pain in that thigh after nearly 40 years

Cracked my head open falling against a radiator.

Fell on the thin metal strip of sliding doors and landed on my coccyx. Could barely move without crying for weeks. Stupid Tequila.

Abscess on leg resulting in huge hole (but we all already know about this).
