Asexuality is someone, imo, who is not particularly interested in sex.
It's a label describing them. Consider it a separate category or outside of categories as you see fit. I suspect the former is more useful.
Sighhhh, not another label to add to the ever growing list
This label isn't new, Bobbi.
It is here, I can’t keep up with all the genres now, so I won’t
An asexual person is someone who has no sexual feelings or desires. This has nothing to do with identifying as one gender or another. An asexual person can be any gender.
What ,who, where, how, now , then, before, oh god never, well how about that. I'll just have a lay down.
...take a deep breath Teacake
you may need it tomorrow...
I wish people would just get on with whatever they are or with whatever they do instead of insisting on labels and public declarations. Few care.
Few do care Naomi
But it is important to some
Clearly.
I guess it's all about how some accept others
My sons friend claimed to be asexual. To be it was part of teenage insecurity. She's very intelligent, quite nerdy and socially awkward. To me she was labelling herself for fear of rejection.

Now she 20/21 and her asexualality vanished when she met a boy! As I said it would (boy or girl) but I didn't understand yada yada yada...
*to me.
Not so much acceptance but reaction to the million gender nonsense that accompanies it.
I think that depends what the person themselves wants the term to mean when they use it about themselves. No one should be using it about another person.
