Can you keep a secret?

If someone told you something and told you not to tell ANYBODY, could you do it? What if they offered you money or threatened to break your knee caps. Would you be able to keep stoom?

if someone was going to break my knee caps i'll tell them anything, make it up if necessary apart from threats of violence i'm pretty good at keeping secrets.

I have and do keep secrets. The only time I break a confidence is if that person breaks mine. Then there is a whole tidal wave of trouble for them.
Besides unless its incredibly important I tend to forget them anyway.

Yes I can keep a secret but if someone told me something that was potentially harmful to someone then I would have to discuss the matter with whoever told me.

No. No matter what the secret is I am terrible, but I wouldn't tell the whole world I just have to tell at least one person. If it was really important I'd have to tell my mum, but she can keep a secret so I assume thats kinda OK.
