Good Morning though a bit of a breezy one (it seems).
For years I was plagued by tonsillitis and given antibiotics - gargled at home with warm salt water.  
Long lie ahead later, just calling in to have a chorus with 1ozzy.
Hope you feel better as day wears on.

Thanks moorea, only the 2nd time I have ever had it, the first was 3/4 years ago. I'm highly allergic to penicillin and the stuff they gave me took an age to kick in.

I am really hoping I can get it in check before needing antibiotics

Me too re Penicillin.  Finally GP used to refuse me antibiotics saying "it will go away in four to five days"- a horrid time.  Tonsils out at age 23.

G'morning RH and the early birds, ah it wicked you have tonisilitis Red, I'd go with the salt water gargle, tis good, also, if you have a humidifier or one of those face steaming things, Strepsils have an antibacterial thing in them that help, if you could get the strong ones over the counter, I don't know if your chemist opens today, ours work on a rota system on sundays 
I'm just gonna take things easy today, not gonna watch any sport, just get my Sunday Papers, do few crosswords and maybe do an added bit of housework later that I left on the long finger

Morning all - was working last night so haven't seen the Springboks-Ireland game yet though I tracked it - well done Ireland though. I understand that it was fairly brutal. Today, we have the Daffodils and the Thistle games to look forward to. I did watch the Roses yesterday and maybe, just maybe, they begin to run the ball at pace with stiffer opposition. Otherwise, it's a coffee out w. friends and then on for a wee supermarket shop.

Nothing too exciting going on here - surprise! Get the papers for the usual crosswords when the shop is open. Cooking a small roast dinner for lunch - OH has been off them for ages and I do miss them. Did some gardening yesterday for the first time in about 2 years!! The big hedge got my attention first - necessitated because of the narrowing drive. It felt like I had given Hamza Yassin a short back and sides ;) 

I will be taking things a little easier today, some letter writing.

I am exhausted from the travel and the extra day of back and forth!

I am really hoping this will pass soon! I am so busy at work with this diploma study and my cases, this is the last thing I need.

I popped into my local coffee shop yest DT for a quick cup of coffee while shopping, I was well chuffed,  I got it free on an app I have on my phone as my birthdate was Sept and it was a treat. cheeky mare asked me if I wanted a cake with it (nothing is free in this world 😂)

Do you think RH, the tonsilitis is from your recent travels (i know it was short haul flight) but my brother always gets throat issues after flying
