I've recently watched Above Suspicion, Cracker and Wire in the Blood.

Can anyone recommend similar please. I've got prime and Netflix.

I watched this, it was okay but not brilliant

Amazon.com User Recommendation
"The Devil's Hour" on Prime - I've just watched the first 2 episodes (of 6) & frankly might just stay up all night to watch the rest.

Sort of psychological/supernatural crime thriller with Peter Capaldi & - Jessica Raine - not sure where/how it's going to end up yet...
There are some good True Crime Channels on You Tube
^Further - you do need to keep watching the screen, quite a lot is in snippets of flashback.
Prodigal son - staring Michael Sheen
The Crimson Rivers in French with subtitles.
Most thing by Walter presents, different language series with subtitles. Both available on Channel 4.
I think Cardinal is avqilable on prime. An excellent Canadian series.
My absolute favourite police drama is "Spiral"...in French, with subtitles. All eight series are on BBC iPlayer.
Would agree gingejbee, loved Spiral. Also enjoyed The Fall and Marcella.
I posted this on another thread yesterday. I’ve just finished watching ‘Black Butterflies’ on Netflix. I’m not sure it’s to everyone’s taste but it’s different. Dark, intriguing, shocking, full of twists, violent, and as a warning to to easily offended, quite … erm …. graphic.
BM, i've just rewatched the entire 3 seasons of Cracker and i have to say, while it was a tad dated, the superb acting of the main characters more than made up for it. What a talent Big Robbie was.
Have you watched The Sinner (4 seasons) on Netflix? Young Wallander, Giri/Haji, Unbelievable, all on Netflix. True Detective, Tin Star, Bosch - and it's spin-off 'Bosch - The Legacy' - are just a few that spring to mind as regards Prime. All very binge-worthy, imho of course.
If you don't mind subtitles, quite a lot of the Walter Presents on All 4 are worth a look.
The Fall. Excellent!
Just watched the Black Butterflies trailer, Naomi. It's now on my list :-)
The Sinner. I've not seen the most recent, but I really enjoyed it and I'm not one to watch many series.
an icelandic series on netflix ...trapped
there are 2 series to watch ,i found them really good
Like Pasta mentioned, The Sinner is one to watch too.
I watched High Water recently which is fictional but based on factual events.
I think you might like it, Ken. You and I seem to have similar taste in television.
Binge watched it through last night and tonight, Naomi. I quite enjoyed it's many twists and turns.
As an aside, Nastya has lovely tats :-J
