Woody many restaurants here serve squares of crispy belly pork as a frebee before the starters. But they are roasted so long they are crispy and salty and delicious.

Morning...what a wild evening it was, the blue bin went over. My cling peaches and evap tins must be all over Norfolk this morning.

Neti, yes, I'm wearing a shower cap permanently now, it saves getting my perm all frizzy in this weather. I didn't have time to save it from being shredded by the vac, I had a handbag in my other hand. (I carry one at all times, remember?)
Today I'll mostly be carrying a sharp poking stick.

No sun in my boudoir .Blowing a gale and dreary.What's more I had to go and pick up a load of empty tins in the garden before they collected the bin.They seem to eat a lot of soup and sdns in Derbys :)
Very mild though for the time of year .I wish we could have some cold crisp sunny days instead of this constant gloom.

quite pleasant out, if grey means pleasant. OH has gone for a guided walk along the Wandle, which is apparently a river down south somewhere, so I shall either sit at home and do something, or else go out and do something.

That'll be nice Jno .Some of it is very picturesque. I used to live in the Wandle area .It flows all round Wandsworth ,Merton etc .We had a small tributary of it running along the back of where we used to live in Lower Morden called the Beverley Brook.

Oh dear woofy. I don't eat a lot of meat and never eat pork or pork products any more. Apparently it's the worst meat for IBS. Hope you feel better today.

I remember the Wandle dad and I used to walk along it, must have been when visiting sisters at Wimbledon.
What a disastrous day it has been. I put a new black sheet in what machine with the blk and whit bedding on a 40° it all came out grey. I managed to get it back to a passable white with bleach and another 40 ° wash. THEN the colour ran on the settee cushion covers. All went live k where they should have been white. Also good old bleach sorted them. But with all the vigorous washing some of the seams frayed so have been repairing them.
Then I did my hair roots. Fine deep sigh of relief but then I noticed that my chopped sticky up. Hairstyle was flat on one side no idea why so I've gelled it up again.

Have to see ENT specialist at hospital tomorrow 9am my time. Don't suppose he'll know what is wrong either.
Off to cook roast chicken although with my luck it'll probably turn into belly pork!!!

SILENCE IN COURT!! I've arrived. It didn't stop raining from the minute I left home til when I walk d back in. Never mind had a good time. Crispy duck +a decent Chablis on Friday evening watching the only disappointed of the weekend, Th Rams, losing to The Red whatsits. Nottingham Forest, for the uninitiated. Saturday Saw the latest Bond movie and then a day in Brighton on Sunday visiting and having a tasty meal in a local pub. When we got back to my friend's we watched Brassed Off with Pete Postlethwaite Sp!

Hope you feel better soon Woofy. You've surprised me about M & S food cos I have one or two of their meals now and again.

Hope the rest of you are ok. I've been trying to keep up. Honest!

Neti is it your relation who is an expert on Flog It I think I remember you did and the man is now on at the moment.

Going to watch River tonight there are only 2 more episodes to go. Downton hasn't grabbed me at all and I've never seen an episode. Maybe it would have if I had. Off now for a cuppa. Had nothing since lunch Salmon Broccoli Pie and salad and a latte. Luvverly....see yer later.

OH didn't much care for the Wandle - the bit they walked was all new housing estates and old sewerage works. I stayed in with my computer then went out for a walk (no sewerage works), so I got the best of both worlds. At one stage I felt a raindrop but there weren't any more.

Now isn't my life almost as exciting as yours, Jude?

I can normally eat pork with no problem but this was very fatty. I should have thrown it away....isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?

Good morning. Have been to ENT they think they have found the cause. They poked a camera up there it was do painful I cried. I was ashamed. But my bone is crooked and there is a huge hole where it shouldn't be. On waiting list for head cray.
