Windy, sunshine and blue sky now after a wet start but it's bitterly cold out there. What a difference.
Funny with no big puta but I might actually get something done....once I've run this battery down again. :)

What the?! Just popped into cb and either side of the page I got ads for Lovehoney (sex toys etc, I haven't looked :) )- doesn't shock me but it's hardly suitable for a family site is it? Have any of you seen it and has it been mentioned?

goodness, that doesn't sound right. Pop into the Ed's blog and mention it. Maybe it's meant as a Christmas antidote to destructive cats and men on the moon; or perhaps AB has just been hacked by Irish teenagers.

Am sitting in a.little square with a fountain playing waiting to meet a car insurance rep.
Nose is really hurting today and have headache. Have laptop in handbag. Friday 13? Hope I get it all home OK.
Sweating buckets as it is overcast and I dressed for winter! , still 19°!

Jno it isn't happening now. I thought mentioning it in Ed's blog might make it worse, not to mention a frenzy as everyone tried to find it. Maybe they'd been browsing it during coffee breaks at HQ. ;)
I'm sure the monks in the dungeon have dealt with it and are praying for our corrupted souls.

Got laptop back. Been hither and thither for Mr N.and.done the lottery. Feel rough. Have such a headache and sore nostril, have just taken into ibroprofen to see if that eases it.
Woofy can you translate 'cresta osea septum' I know osea is bone and septum but what does it mean?

Turned wet and windy here now .You can't win .I had to do the dash to the line .I don't actually dash ,it's more like one leg and a swinger.
That sounds painful Neti . Isn't the crest a maxillary bone or something .I think it's basically what they call a deviated septum.

Yes I've always had a deviated septum but it's never hurt like this. but he said something about a hole in it. Must stop sniffing cola!!

Neti some ads are relevant to your browsing history, many aren't. I assure you the most risque sites I've looked at lately were for thermals. And no, the lady doth not protest too much.

went for a walk in town but it was freezing, so went into a Tintin exhibition for a while, then went to M&S for some knickers and ended up buying a lovely toasty fleece as well. It's actually too warm at present despite it being about 6 degrees outisde, but it will be welcome in midwinter. Dropped in to the chemist to pick up some pills and his lovely helpful young assistant had just called in to show off her brand new baby, who is tiny - she was asleep and she looked like a little doll. Her father says she is not a doll when awake.

Haven't done much today.Mooching about really trying to put my mind on other things .Watched Rod in concert at Hyde Park and hummed along with a glass of scotch .He can still pull 'em in.
My brother came round with one or two things that Mr.S can help him with and I made him stay for dinner and he did eat something,thank goodness. He's broken hearted but we're trying to keep him steady between us.I love him so much and hate seeing him like this.I'm so worried about him.
This attack in Paris is dreadful.People out enjoying themselves and then that happens.Tragic.

Oh dear! lots of sadness about with some of us at the moment. I've spoken to my life long friend in Australia who tells me her husband has had 4 very quick strokes and is in hospital unable to speak or move hardly at all. Very upsetting, I was a bridesmaid to her in the 60's.

The weather isn't as bad here as they said it was going be today. Well, not up to now. We're going to see the Woman in the Yellow Van or something like that with Maggie Smith. Probably give us a smile. I like Maggie, she was on Graham Norton last week and so funny.
Hope you get your nose sorted Neti. I have a deviated septum and my Dr. sent me to have a 'nose job' about 3 years ago which really sorted it out.
Was I pleased! :-) it almost blocked 1 nostril and the specialist cut it out.
Hope you're all having a peaceful day and getting through all aches, pains and disappointments.
Aren't I a cheerful Charlie! I'll try and perk up for next time.

Late good morning...I don't know where I am, I was awake all night. As if this throat/cough/cold (again!) wasn't enough my irritable biddybelly had to go into overdrive. I think it has been building up for days. I'm wiped out now, not to mention very cold. I was listening to the awful reports til 4am coming in live from Paris. It's absolutely dreadful, those poor people and their families.

Where are you Jude cos it's been piddling down on my road all morning? It was the same in jno land too, I watched the Lord Mayor's show. At least that was something bright and cheerful to look at.

Hang on in there all, as my mum used to say. I think she watched too much US television. x

oh dear, sorry to hear so many people are ailing, but maybe at least some deviant septums are getting put on the straight and narrow. i didn't go to see the Lord Mayor's parade as it's been raining all morning and I shall skip the fireworks tonight for the same reason. And I'm not turning on the TV news either. Maybe I will become a hermit and live on top of a pillar somewhere sunny.

Yes, miserable weather and dreadful news. I couldn't listen to anymore after 4 o'clock, some of the live reports were very graphic and harrowing. I may feel lousy but at least I'm (hopefully) safe here at home. My friend's got family visiting Paris this weekend, thankfully they're safe and knew nothing when their phones started ringing. My nephew & his girlfriend were there only a few weeks ago too.

I'd like to live somewhere warm and sunny where all news is good and illness doesn't exist....and someone fetches me cup of tea when I ring my bell.

Afternoon all. Been shopping and messing about with laptop. I finally managed to get into Gravatar to change my aviator!!
Nose doesn't hurt today thank heavens.
Shocking news re: Paris. Such a sad bad world. But we must live our lives as we want.
I must say that when I was in Pacha in August I did fleetingly think what would happen if there was a bomb or a fire and I knew we'd all be doomed as although I know one way out it was a tiny passageway and no one would get through, The fire exits are certainly not signed. But you mustn't think like that.
Been a lovely sunny day here but getting chilly now so have donned a trackie and slippers.
Haven't cooked any dinner as cba, and actually I am enjoying cba at the moment!!
