You should have seen the huge plate of beans (momgetes) and butifarra sausage I had after Shaney. No bad effects yet. I like to try different foods. My stomach must be made of cast iron although all authentic Spanish food is healthy and natural. I am getting podgy though due.to the amount of bread I am enjoying atm !!

Same here.Accu say cloudy and breezy,which it is,then it changed to partly sunny,which it isn't and now rain is starting in 26mins.
I've just done a wash.It'll have to go on the airer.I hate drying washing indoors,especially sheets and towels.

22° here today. People were swimming in the sea. Am waiting in for my tesco jacket to be delivered. Bought a lovely pair of fashionable hiking boots of local Internet today. They are tan and only costs 5€. Brand new never been worn
They are for fashion not hiking!
Just making a beef stew and the gas ran out. Mr N hasn't replace the old one yet so had to hunt one down and found one in the gas fire. Lugged it to the kitchen and all is well. It's amazing how heavy they get the older you get. I used to be able to bounce one on my knee up 4 flights of stairs, but now can hardly drag one across one room!

Very nice Robinia, for the shooting and fishing brigade .Very Downton.There's a lovely cashmere coat to die for.Out of my price range though.

The most excitement I've had today was watching my shower hat whoosh up the vac pipe. It's not showerproof now.

Oh Robi you are so funny. I can just see your shower cap. But the question has to be asked.... do you wear the shower cap when hoovering and wield the nozzle uncontrollably around your head. Otherwise do you hoover the bathroom and if so was the aforesaid shower cap on the floor or hanging on the wall , which beggars the question, we're you hoovering the bathroom walls????

Its blowing a hooligan here. I had slow cooked pork belly for tea. It was horrible.

Yuk belly pork all fat! Hija was eating out and ordered a steak. It came with a square of jellied bone marrow and caramelised onions. She took one bite said the texture was so bad and tasted of nothing. She didn't eat it! I made a very nice beef stew but cba to make dumplings.
Had to go to garage to get Mr Ns van whichnisnonniys last wheels as it were. He's looking into buying a new one. I want a new car too!!!

the fat was supposed to melt away in the cooking and leave just crispy bits and meat but it didn't. It was marks and sparks, very disappointed.

Good morning biddies. The sun is pouring into my boudoir as I recline in my bed sipping my cuppa.
Have to take laptop into be mended today. That's another week and 50€ gone west.
Hope you all had a good night. Mousey had me up and down most of the night, coming in and going out of my window.
