Just lately I've been wondering how the hell he knows some stuff being blind. Yesterday when he was on bike he said to Bex 'how can you sit there like that, I'd be laying down' How does he know how she is sitting???? Also when someone mentions something happening in the room he looks over to it????

He is obviously not completely blind. But he has such limited sight that to all intents and purposes he is registered as being blind.

sorry its not that obvious to me, when he said he's blind I assume he's blind, Compared to Darnell who is partially sighted, from other things Mikeys said asking people to describe there build etc, if he was partially sighted then he'd know

yes he does and asked Belinda if she was black a partially sighted person would know wouldnt they? Maybe he can tell from hearing alone how they are sitting

There are numerous degrees of being blind, I'm afraid. Perhaps all he sees are shadows..............he can make out shapes but not colours............

or feel around for his bed or anything else with that stick, if he can see shapes then he would be able to find his bed

Yeah I picked up on that too! Maybe she said after she got of the bike (after doing her part which consisted of about 2km) that she was going to have a lie down?

Either way he's starting to annoy me now.

Imagine if he's fooled everyone and he isn't actually blind at all.

Bex is the WORST though. She makes me so angry. Moaning and crying. When she rolled out of the diary room in to the living room! I bet she was expecting there to be housemates in there so she would get a reaction. The moron.

And, sorry to go off topic, but does anyone else think that Belinda and her crying after she got off the bike was a little OTT? She just found out she was up for eviction and on come the water works after she completed the "hardest thing she has ever done"

Darnel isnt partially sighted, he just cant be @rsed to open his eye lids lol

I don't know about the first bit, 4get as I missed it, but I'd say when he looks over to where he's being called from that its' just habit to do so when he could see.

What about Darnell last night, though? Let himself down, didn't he?

he isnt being called, if he is sat with someone and they say 'oh my god look what darnells doing now' he looks over to where Darnell is

Approximately 10% of those deemed legally blind, have no vision at all. The rest have some vision, from light perception alone to relatively good acuity.

I worked for a blind lady for many years. There senses follow the direction a person is speaking. So, if someone is talking about somebody else in a different part of the house & they can see that person, Mikey would look that way too, normal reflex.

Does the white stick have any indication as to the partial or total blindness ? For example , is the stick white all over , from top to tip , if they are totally blind only ?

Oh yes , it was really awful and really unbelievable what Darnell did .

C'mon I can't believe this is a serious question you people really don't have a clue about people. Or maybe you just have no common sense. Just look at Mikeys eyes for gods sake, that gives you the answer.
As suggested he would change direction of his head as a normal reflex and to balance the sound waves/absorbsion in both ears. Seriously.. I bet you who don't know are the same people who like Rex.. One word "Idiots"..

Leave mikey alone. Yes he is blind but why pick on his sense of fashion? He is comfortable. Plenty of people with good eye sight have terrible taste. Belinda for one?
