Went to Halifax for a job interview and got a bit lost. Asked a woman in the street for directions to the school where the interview was and she asked me why I wanted to go there. I told her and she then went off on one because she had applied for the job too and hadn't been shortlisted.
A spiritual near death experience where I thought I died whilst on mind bending substances
not the most bizarre but one I have just thought of.

popped into an asda after a long day out, chatted politely to the checkout bloke, he asked for my post code (asda were doing a survey) the checkout guy said I know that postcode, he told me what house number and it turned out he was the former resident of my house, the house was about 10 miles away from this asda!

The nosy so and so shouldn't have asked you why you wanted to go there...
She would have known that the interviews were going on and she was obivoulsy well p!$$ed off about it.
my life is full of bizarre things. I've been locked in a local leisure centre/swimming pool and I've had an argument with a blind man in argos
I went to an open air market once and nobody bought any of my carpets, trinkets or tamed snakes....it was a most bizarre bazaar

My mother and I bumped into a bunch of blokes on holiday a few years back. They were the Luxumbourg football team - they invited us along with them. Oh what a night !

Ha, very funny, Janzman !
I got run over (well my foot did) by The Queen Mother's car at Cheltenham racecourse in about 1988.
I apologised to her!
Very bizarre :-S
A few years ago now, I driving to an appointment with work, and came off a dual carriageway and up to a roundabout, where there were numerous vehicles belonging to some New Age Travellers just going round and round and round! The Police had blocked off all but one of the exits to try and send them back onto the dual carriageway, and away from the town, and now I was in the midst of it! I was waving and shouting to the policemen, and eventually they moved one roadblock to allow me leave the roundabout, the travellers were really friendly and we had quite a laugh as we all drove round and round! I was a little tempted to take off with my 'new found friends' I have to say, however, I resisted, but often think, it might have been great!.............
Oh yer and when I went on holiday last year a girl with us asked this couple on next table to take a group pic of us all and they said 'we would do but we're blind!'

Oh my lord, 4 get.. that must have been really embarrassing.
I had to do a presentation at another office a couple of months ago. a fraud manager from a Local Authority was also there and we were chatting. his wife worked at that office and she came in and said, "Sara? you went to my primary school!" and she was right! she was in my brother's year (2 years above) so won't have seen me since I was nine. I didn't really know her at school but remembered her name when she told me.

bizarre!

sara I now live in Norfolk and the bloke that interviewed me on Friday used to work for the same ompany as my dad. Not in Norfolk though, when dad was at the company in London when he was about 21 and this bloke was at another base in Leeds!

Sara... you've just reminded me of when I bumped into a couple that I knew from Hereford when I was walking down the street in Benalmadena. That was the very same holiday I referred to in my earlier post. We walked past a cafe and I heard someone calling our names...
My (poor) daughter has been stopped a rake of times asking if she was related to me. The first time was in Ireland when someone stopped her in the street and asked her if she was related to Karen Moriarty....Since then it's happened loads of times.

My son was asked today if he was related to me......
