I stop smoking for good. I promised I'd do it when I turned 30. Well, it's taken another 3 years, but I am resolutely determined to quit the nasty habit for good now. Besides the obvious pitfalls of smoking, it exacerbates my wheeziness and will, in time, take it's toll on my skin. So there you have it. Wish me luck !

Think of all the money you will save - a years fags would pay for a holiday! And no more standing outside a pub in the cold just to light up. If thats not a good enough reason I don't know what is, yet you still see them stood outside shivering, but I bet they moan about the cold as soon as they go back in.
Best of luck, NoM..........you can always take up a pipe later on, eh?.....lol xx

Best of luck NM,I did it 12 yrs ago and have never regretted it, oddly tho' smoking doesn't bother me being an ex smoker, what I detest are the ex smokers who wave their arms about madly like bl00dy Magnus Pike at the mere whiff of a cigarette, so exaggerated and OTT, like look at me, put me on a pedestal..blah-blah-blah
there's me rant...lol
sorry feeling a bit down this morning
