I actually watched "Sleepless In Seattle" wearing spectacles that cost me threepence. Hope this helps.
are you asking what was the first film that I wore 3d specs for or what was the first film that required the wearing of 3d specs? if the former...none. if the latter i suspect it may have been Jaws 3

Thank you!
Earlier than you think: according to http://www.didik.com/3d_film.htm , C. Grivolas produces a short anaglyph in 1897!
House of Wax (1953) and Monster from the Black Lagoon (1954) were both originally released in 3-D, viewable with red & green glasses.
Friday the 13pt 3 im sure when it was released in the cinemas it was in 3d.I think that may have been made before Jaws 3
the original 13 Ghosts movie!
House of Wax was the first major studio production in 3D, but it was if fact made in colour, as were the other 3D films of the time, and you used polarized glasses to view it not the red and green ones. These were only used for cheap red and green anaglyph prints which resulted in a monochrome image and were presumably shown in cinemas which could not afford the colour 3D projectors.
gerry, it was nightmare on elm street that had a small section at the end in 3-D. I think it was number 4
