Watched the last episode of this four parter last night.  Seemed to fizzle out like a damp squib and I was really disappointed at the end.  Anyone else watch this?

I agree. Disappointing ending and the whole thing was underwhelming. A shame because the idea and the cast was good but I hated the Larry Lamb home videos

I knew this would happen! Starts off promising, the a real let down at the end. This seems to be happening more and more with these tv dramas. Shame, had such potential with a good cast.

I agree.  The first episode seemed so promising but I found the performances very flat and one dimensional.  It is a drama that couldn't have been made years back as how would they have managed without all the phone calls on mobiles.  Generally I find that dramas on Channel 5 are underwhelming.

I agree with you, also I ended up very confused. Had Sarah and Micheal poisoned Larry Lamb so they could get his house and money? Was James brought up with Sarah and Micheal, but gone his own way then ended up in jail, so they cut off contact? Usually I am quite good at following things but this left me with more questions than answers!!

I to was disappointed at the ending.  How did his son who owned the restaurant know where the caravan was.? It reminded me of the true story of the sixth commandment with Timothy spall.

"How did his son who owned the restaurant know where the caravan was.? " - In the scene before that he asks Glen "who knows how to find people".

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was confused by it all. :0/

I may need to watch again now I know the ending. Why was the 'estate agent' at the house at the start,- did noone ask who'd instructed him. If he lived in a caravan and presumably had  no job how come he scrubbed/dressed up to look so good on his date nights.

I know they children didnt visit as often as he wanted but they did sometimes so clearly his new wife wasn't living there or had left no signs (eg bathroom items).  So did they live seperate even when married? so why marry.

Why did everyone including the loanshark and the police all decide to arrive at that time ... just in time to save them all..... but there was no firebrigade to be seen.

Lots of questions. I loved it until the last episode but felt a bit cheated in the end. would be interesting to watch again.

My question is how come Sian didn't recognise him when he was filming them on one of the home videos? You saw Nathan/James clear as a bell!!

....and did they know who Nathan/James was and why he was at Dad's house filming them.

I felt I was following the whole story until the last episode and had some ideas including him not really been a Estate Agent, but it just seemed all a bit rushed in the end and it all felt as if they didn't know how to end it and suddenly realised they had 15minutes to wind it all up

You've got it, Bobb.. Typical Channel 5 ending...
