I was cringing with embarrassment watching Dev in Corrie last night. Did anyone else feel the same? (OK I know it's not real!!!)

Yes, he was way over the top and Billy too giggling like a schoolboy ! The kids were ok with it until he started talking about sex. Billy and Dev had drunk a lot though ...

Tyrone is making me cringe too, flitting from Alina to Fizz like he is !

Dev always seems to act in this embarrassing way. But Billy should've known better, he a vicar!!
I think Dev begs to act like this as I cannot see any scriptwriter writing this nonsense!

Total nonsense, I agree, hadn't a clue what he was on about most of the time! The actor who plays Billy can no way act like a drunk man

Corrie has always put daft scenes in after an intense storyline. Who got stuck on the roof in a santa outfit one Christmas? Was it Les Battersby?

We used to watch in the days of Derek,Mavis et al but have not watched it for some time.

Barry1010 - probably because the storylines took a nose dive like most soaps. I've clung on though - Holby too.

Never watched Holby. I used to love The Bill and towards the end it went quite bizarre with Reg Hollis visiting prostitutes and the station being bombed

Casualty and Holby are more about the staff interactions than the patients now. Rubbish!
Mind you Corrie, Emmerdale and Eastenders are not much better nowadays.

Dev was definitely OTT. I didn't realise he was supposed to be acting drunk.
Watching the programme about Norris reminded me how good Corrie used to be.

Classic Corrie and Classic Emmerdale are a reminder of how good soaps used to be. My guilty pleasure in an afternoon.

Fed up with all the 'warnings' before the soaps. Sometime it would be nice to hear, 'The following programme will include uplifting scenes and great comedy'
