Sorry if there is already a thread about this but, Prince Phillip was born 100yrs ago today and I just wanted to take the opportunity to say, I miss you sir and my thoughts are with the Royal family today.

What a handsome, regal man he was in his prime and what a role model he was until the day he departed. His family must miss him greatly.

Lord Mountbatten was cut from the same cloth. Unfortunately his life was cut short by the IRA. So saad he did not reach his 100th birthday but he had a life well lived.

APG yes, I think a lot of people were hoping he would reach this milestone. I still miss seeing photos of him with the Queen. They just went together like strawberries and cream.

You miss him, Barsel? He retired in 2017 so i'm guessing you've been missing him for some time. Sad that he died but that's what very old people do.

Ken, I do miss him, yes. I know we didn't get to see much of him after he retired, but we knew he was still around and I miss the fact that sadly, he no longer is.
