watch "click" on the BBC this week. The usual "anomalies" explained, again, but some interesting new explanations demonstrating that it was actually more difficult to fake than to go there.

Galileo was lucky. They burnt Giordano Bruni for the same thing. (although he did also claim the stars were other suns)
If you ever go back in time, be very careful what you say.
Happily for all of us, at the time of Apollo11, Richard Nixon was President.

And we know that the Nixon administration would never have got involved in a conspiracy, and would never have misled the public.
I thought it was laughable when Neil Armstrong said,
(I think he said) "We came in peace for all mankind". Yeah, right. As long as they got there before the Ruskies at the height of the Cold War!

(Think it was Bruno, Spicerack.)

//Mr Smow is a highly highly intelligent man - far superior to me - yet he absolutely believes that the moon landing never took place. I’ve given up arguing with him//

How was it for him the last time he asked, Smowball? And did he believe you?
...for you

10cs/JJ this is not about having a different view or thinking differently this is about not thinking at all and instead swallowing the outpourings of con men who make up conspiracy theories to sell books and DVDs to the hard of thinking. Still waiting for a hoaxer to tell me how the moon rocks got here. Laser reflectors? Earth Rise?

10cs: "I thought it was laughable when Neil Armstrong said,
(I think he said) "We came in peace for all mankind". - how have you lived so long and learnt so little? NA didn't say that, it was inscribed on a plaque left up there. Probably the product of NASA PR.
Still laughable though. You have a nice way with words, TTT. The Silver Tongued Smoothie of AB.
Besides, I said that I only thought he said it. Probably because it was said so many times in various programmes. You do get your knickers in a twist, you, don't you TTT? Are you on medication?

so no hoaxer will explain the moon rocks then? right oh!
If ANYONE'S on medication 10C, it's you !!!

Watergate is actually a good example of what happens when real conspiracies are attempted. People screw up, make schoolboy errors, and the whole thing comes crashing down in a very short amount of time after a bit of investigation by a couple of journalists and other investigators.

Before long the conspirators are falling over themselves to rat each other out and write books about their part in the plot.

bang on ludders, we spend a lot of time berating politicians for not being able to organise a *** up in a brewery yet strangley they are capable of faking the moon landings.
"Still waiting for a hoaxer to tell me how the moon rocks got here."

I believe the moon landings were real, but cmon give that one a break. Any ol meteorite could be passed for a moon rock!

The one i smoked in Amsterdam certainly didn't come from the moon.
Exactly. Nixon's people couldn't even organise a simple break in operation at a hotel without screwing up, and JJ wants us to believe they faked the moon landings and subsequently kept the conspiracy going all these years, with no-one ever coming forward to admit to it.

Apply a bit of common sense people.

"Apply a bit of common sense people."

A bit late to be starting that on here now. :-)
It's never too late for common sense Doug.
