I know this sounds a bit strange, but does anyone here forget to eat?
Been at my voluntary work all day. Didn't fancy any breakfast so cut up extra sandwiches, intending to have one for breakfast when I got there. Been busy all day and it was only on the bus on the way home at 3.45 that I realised that I still had both my breakfast and dinner in my rucksack. I then realised that I was actually hungry and demolished the lot on the bus!
Decorating is lethal for me, I have coffee, get started , either finish or the phone goes, it's about 8 pm ... all I've had all day is glasses of Pepsi max. Then if it's not actually frozen it gets eaten.
Many times. I have existed on one meal a day for 38 years. No breakfast, brunch, lunch or snacks in between. Sometimes I get home and either can't be bothered to have my supper or just forget. Am still alive at supper time next day.
The mainspring on my body clock snapped ages ago.
I've always found the idea of eating meals at a particular time of the day to be rather strange to me. I simply eat when I feel hungry, which usually means I eat just one main meal, often late in the day.
Since I don't subscribe to the idea that I 'ought' to eat at any particular time, can't really 'forget' to do so. However I've worked plenty of 12 or 15 hour shifts without as much as a cup of tea, yet alone any food, simply because I've been too busy to think about eating or drinking.
