Millennia is a plural.
I take it you mean the plural of millenium!
:-)
The winner has just been asked what word Winston Churchill used to describe the "curtain" which had descended across Europe at the end of the Second World War.

The options were iron, velvet and something else. The contestant immediately ruled out the iron option and had a wild guess at velvet.

How is it possible that a middle-aged person has never heard of The Iron Curtain?
That said, he's just one £10,000 :-)
I don't see Tipping Point now, as the telly in my workplace doesn't work. Thankfully. What a load of rubbish. Surely they can come up with some better questions.
The chap won £10,000.

Looking at the title of the Thread, should that not read "too hard"?
Worst ever quiz show, for definite, on TV in my opinion.
And dont start me on that Ben Shepherd, who is all over the women contestants cuddling them throughout the show. What's that about? He doesn't cuddle the men, does he?.... and his voice grinds me...i'll stop now :-)
You are looking at this the wrong way .

The questions and 'difficulty' thereof is incidental .
The main objective of the questions is to get someone into play .

It's not like say Mastermind , where answering questions are the main objective of the show

that should be '' ....answering questions correctly .....''

///he's just one £10,000///

It just get's better! ;o)
Bring back 15 to 1 in its original format.
Bernie ... the Bolt
Oh Dave, that really was trash.
I'm still in a state of disbelief over the contestant on Tenable who thought Hungary is a place in South America.
Trash maybe, but it brought a wee ray of sunshine in the shape of Ann Aston to the telly. :-)
There is a Wimbledon Cricket Club (my French GP who had worked in UK had a sign up in his surgery) but something tells me that that was not what the questioner was asking for!
Oh to be as perfect as some on here think they are!
double your money... take your pick... showing my age
