lol, bednobs, the last time I saw Macbeth was at the Globe, and there were helicopters going overhead all the time (there must have been some sort of security operation along the Thames). The poor thane was bellowing himself hoarse trying to make himself heard. We saw him in the bar afterwards and he could hardly speak.
But dahlink it is soo koool and trendy and P/C and people will flock for miles to see the wonder of a woman being othello! I have been ten times already and the number of dinner party invitations I have received from people wanting to hear all about it is astounding. Every one is positively ga gag gah! to hear about it. Do go it is such a thrill! But I must confess I have seen Hamlet played by a 17 years old hermaphrodite - but I am so avant garde!
