A man's career in shreds just on the words of one female. Bill Roach and Michael Le Vell both made a come back after certain accusations, were Coro to quick to sack Bruno?

Do feel sorry for Bruno Langley - can't believe he is on sex offenders list - for feeling two crotches. I can't remember how many times I have been felt up in dances etc but that's life. He did not deserve what he got. His life is in ruins because of some intoxication. Terrible for him.
Is he on the sex offenders register? You only go on that after you are convicted of a sexual offence, JJ. He is at the moment subject to accusations.

However, if it is proven that he is guilty of "feeling two crotches" that is, in anyone's view, two counts of sexual assault! Other victims may not feel as sanguine as you, JJ. We should remember that.
I understand that this chap has now been found guilty ::

Beg pardon....he has now admitted his guilt and been sentenced accordingly.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced today.
Langley was given a 12-month community order, and was told he must sign the sex offenders' register and pay his two victims £250 each.
Thanks Mikey. JJ, sexual assaults are sexual assaults. They are unpleasant for the victim, however one might try and minimalise them. No sympathy for him is really warranted. And being drunk is absolutely no excuse.
Actually words fail me re this so I'll say no more.
Why do words fail you? You were certainly full of sympathy for the perpetrator a few minutes ago!!!! He was drunk and he made an absolute nuisance of himself which went far further when he sexually assaulted two women. My only sympathy is with his victims.
At the risk of sounding like an old fogey again, I had never heard of this chap until a couple of days ago. But whoever he is, he must now face up the consequences of his actions.
He's done the right thing by pleading guilty as he has - one thing in his favour.
I hadnt heard of him until a few minutes ago, Mikey. So I must similarly be an old fogey. And yes, he must face the consequences.
Barmaid....I had terrible stick on here, a few days ago, when I said that I didn't know who Olly Murs was, so I feel the need to explain every time a "celebrity" is mentioned !
I wouldnt bother, Mikey. I dont know who anyone is because I rarely watch much TV or listen to the radio. I enjoy blissful ignorance.
In light of his pleading guilty today I can only conclude that he admitted the offences to Granada. If that is the case Granada took the right action
that's also my reading of it, hc4361. His behaviour would have been okay if running for the US presidency (bar the birth requirement) but nobody wants him in their TV progammes. Corrie have higher standards than American voters, it seems.
A man's career in shreds just on the words of one female

Langley, 34, of Altrincham, admitted two sexual assaults and was sentenced to a 12-month community order at Manchester Magistrates' Court.
The court heard Langley had grabbed the crotch of one woman and touched the breasts and bottom of the other while drunk.
Ms Saffman said Langley had also sexually touched two other women, but had not faced charges over those assault.

Seems more than one was involved.
Considering what I have seen people do when they were drunk
I feel quite sorry for him TBH

a bit like the scot in the pub ('Rock Bottomn') in Dubai or Abby Dabby who man handled the punter - his real mistake is that he then told him to frack off rather than apologise
aog's original post was more than a month ago and the link does indeed refer only to one woman. He wasn't to know there would be more.
Really Peter you feel sorry for him? I think that says a lot about you!
I agree peperhaphe admitted guilt to his employer as he is of course in the public eye they have to be seen to take the right course of action asap.
Having just seen this thread though i wpuld point out yhat it is not uncommon for employment contracts to state that even just being accused of a crime is sufficient for dismissal at their discretion due to business reputation.
