Anyone who shops at Tesco either in store or online check your junk mail.

I've just got money off vouchers. from 25/09/17 - 01/10/17 you get £12 off when you spend £80 or more. Week 2 and week 3 is £8 off.

I know not great for people living alone unless a monthly shop is due.

Usually this would have gone straight into the recycling box.

I have not received any email from Tesco with money off vouchers
But there are some spam emails floating around purporting to be from Tesco with a link that they ask you to click on which could lead to malware. .
Please ensure that the emails you receive are genuinely from Tesco before clicking on any links.
I received them too Ummm so not spam as they accepted them against my monthly shop x
Yes, whilst there are spam/scam emails out there this was in the post though FreyaBee.
We struggle to spend over £50 now and don't normally bother with coupons requiring spend of £80 as we just ended up over buying
Thanks for the replies. It's good that it is genuine . I would find it hard to spend £80 in one go ! ;-)

It's good for a family though. When the kids were home I'd easily spend £80 a week. I have to keep reminding myself there's only 2 of us now. I can't believe how long washing powder lasts now and the fact I can buy ice cream and it stays in the freezer :-)
I haven't received any e-mails, but I suspect the Tesco are targetting customers who regularly spend £80 or more.
I can't see any reference to emails in the original post- reads like post to me. I think they target those that have shopped before but not so much recently, and also those who may spend £50 or so in the hope that we'll be tempted to splash out on some more expensive items
FF, I assumed that the mention of checking junk mail referred to spam.
No I shop a lodl at Lidl
I fill up my freezer
Maybe- but I read 'recycling box' to be paper junk mail. I don't think my email has a junk box- just inbox and spam
Question Author
Sorry...I meant junk mail that comes through the post and usually gets dumped straight into the recycling box.

You're probably right about it being targeted, FF, I suppose the frequency of my shopping has dropped since the kids left.
When did it arrive ummmm? I shop with them all th time and haven't had anything
Whatever method of communication is being used I haven't received anything, probably for the reason quoted in my post at 11.53.
We get them every couple of months; they are loyalty rewards really. The more you shop with them the more vouchers are worth. We've changed our shopping habits recently and the Tesco coupons are way down on what they used to be.

Yesterday, Smow.
Ah no we didn't get any post yesterday, or today.
Confused of Scotland here.

Why would a Tesco shopper receive an envelope with Tesco all over it and chuck it in the recycling thinking it was rubbish?
Capt, the ones that are based on points spent are not subject to having to spend £80.
Question Author
Doug..because it usually is. Most of what they send out I'm not interested in. Phones, insurance, banking, credit cards etc etc.
