How embarrassing was Ken trying to act a stroke victim. Bloody awful acting.

Really?
I thought it was the best performance I'd seen from Roache in a long time.
I think he's doing it very well
I don't watch soaps.
However after consultation with Mrs sqad, she feels that it is 50/50
50% of the time his acting is good, not very good, but good and the other 50% of the time he overacts, exaggerates and spoils the effect.
His frustration at not being able to speak is palpable
I thought it was good acting, it can't be easy trying to play a stroke victim.
top marks for him how many in real life have you seen. ive seen dozens and hes spot on
I thought he did a good job, can't be an easy act to do. Full marks to him.
Yes I have seen someone like that just after a stroke and he did it well .
I thought it was well acted. How he held his lip up at the corner for so long was impressive. Can't be easy.
Oh dear jennyjoan you seem outvoted, but I have to say my first reaction to Ken's acting was the same as yours. I didn't think it was good at all, quite cringeworthy, so it goes to show what we know ha!
It's probably because we are so used to a rubbish performance from Bill Roache. Really don't know how he has lasted so long on Corrie.
