how far behind is corrie filmed. i only ask this cos theres no snow there and Ken is still in it and he sadly lost his wife in feb and took a break from the show but in Emmerdale theres been snow on the ground for about 2 weeks.

I haven't watched it for yonks but it always used to be about 6 weeks behind on average.
around 6 weeks but as in emmerdale some scenes are filmed out of sequence (shot on different days)this is very obvious at the moment on emmerdale snow one minute sun and no snow the next
It may also be that they record outside on the backlot for a few episodes at a time, and then they spend a few days in studio, so they may have been in studio when snow covered the ground.
It may also be that to avoid continuity problems, they cleared the snow from the backlot and used heated blowers to dry the street, or just avoided getting the ground in shot.
Also here in the North West we had very little snow, unlike the rest of the country!
