I went on Saturday , with my 3 girls ( wife and two daughters ) , also for my birthday

Loved it. There were a couple of scenes I thought were a little on the slow side, but perhaps they were to give the audience a breather in between all the action.

Casino Royale is still my favourite, but Spectre is right up there with Skyfall (I prefer to blank out Quantum of Solace).

Going later this week so will reserve judgement. Loved Skyfall so if it's as good I'll be a happy bunny.

I didn't like it at all!

I found the plot paper-thin and confusing, the dialogue was dreadful, and it was far too long.

Myself and youngest-born agreed on this - her sisters thought it was great, so it goes to show, there are views at either end.

I'm with andy-hughes. Eye-gouging is a young woman's game, it seems.
