..or has it been 'one of those weekends'? Kids and dog were strange yesterday, very restless, none of them seemed to settle all day. Today it's been my turn. First I put the coffee pot on without the filter, it overflowed everywhere... Made dinner and put the gravey granuals in my tea... last of all (best last) I just poured wine into Mr M's beer - what can you do but laugh?

I did indeed drink the cocktail - not too bad as it was more wine than beer! Nice to have trivial things to laugh about!

Last week my husband came to pick me up from yet another week in hospital, he brought my clothes to go home in. After putting the trousers on I said "these trousers feel funny" "Have you got them on back to front" he said, I checked "No they're the right way round" i said. After coming home neighbours came to visit, my daughter popped in, at bedtime I solved the puzzle I was wearing them inside out.
No one noticed, Or did they? and were too polite to tell me. DOH!!

I popped out to Tesco as I have been away for 2 weeks (working in Mauritius) and my husband had neglected to buy any food for the pond fish. I forgot it was a Sunday and got there at around 9.30 am. Had to very slowly go round Tesco until the tills opened at 10am.!

Thats what everyone thought micmak, but I took a horrible cold out there with me. Sometimes I had coughing fits and although I had the weekend off in the middle of the work I had to do, did not feel like doing much so read about the doctor who killed his patients Bodkin Adams while sitting on the beach.

Grasscarp... we were off to a wedding and I'd seen a facinator I liked in Matalan - Ran in at 10am on the Sunday, found the 'hat' and had to walk round like a fool till 11am to pay for it!

I was standing at the bus stop a while back & the lady in front of me had a pair of tights hanging out of the bottom of one leg, evidently she was wearing the same trousers as yesterday but new tights & hadn't noticed she'd left the old pair inside.
Yes, I did mention this to her, she yanked the tights out put them in her bag & didn't say a word but I did notice she had flushed a pretty pink colour.

LOL Masma. Micmak I am in the airline industry and go to give training to those that need it. I have been lucky enough to go to South America, South Africa and Spain (and Mauritius) this year. I really like my job but realise it is not for much longer as I already have bus pass, winter fuel allowance etc

Haven`t had a weekend as I was working. Went to a pub quiz tonight and felt like death after 2 hours sleep in the last 24 hours. Will make up for it tomorrow with a good lie in.

Me too Masma. I can go to work with it, and use it on all the London underground and rail too locally. Was really put out when I left it at home and had to pay a bus fare in Bristol once!
