Hi cupid .. There's talk of Terry Wogan stepping in? Too old a type of programme for Alan Carr to get involved with don't you think carrust?
Countdown is a nice programme. Haven't watched it much sine the 2 des's and jeff had a shot at presenting it.

Dare I suggest a person who isn't famous, however they have a modicum of personality and humour and intelligence?
Vanessa Feltz would be brilliant but are we allowed to suggest a female?
Question Author
I preferred Des Lynham out of the two Des's. I found that Des O'connor thought he
was too good for the programme. [just my opinion]
Question Author
Suggest who you like,Twirls.A female would make a nice change.
Twirls, you could get hung drawn and quartered for suggeting the Feltz. She's too busy on Radio and TV anyway.

However, I am at a loss for suggesting a female presenter.
what about Jo Brand?
How about Sandy Toksvig?
Question Author
Wouldn't it have to be on after the watershed?

I used to like Sandi Toksvig on call my bluff. Am I showing my age?
Torn now between Sandi and Jo, both or either would be great IMO
Jo Brand would be brilliant too!
Either of those two ladies would be comedians...surely the programme is supposed to be entertaining but not actually funny. What about Julia Bradbury. She is bright, charming and intelligent....
