Hi All,

A bit confused at the moment.

I have been a victim of hate crime over the last 2 months, police have arrested the person who is my next door neighbour.

My neighbour posted my address on the EDL and combat18 website preaching racial and religious hate, i then had to flee my house as i couldnt live there anymore and stayed in a hotel for 6-7 weeks. He has pleaded guilty to sending me hate mail and posting my addess on the websites.

The question i have is will i get that money back that as compestion?

barmaid...if you're talking about me - 8 years in a housing department. they won't shed a penny unless they are made to and due process has been followed. if he has been advised, followed instruction and kept every last receipt....you can see where i'm going here.
so whose posts were removed?
is there a top limit? (on judge judy - where i get all my legal info lol it's $5000)
Take solicitors advice (oft free for the first 30 mins or so) to your best route to recover your "expenses".............
mine, probably
Sara - I though lcg76 had more posts than appear now.
icg76, Sara.
dt also offers some sensible advice...or if you are a homeowner and have legal cover, you can use that
just to be pedantic...it's LCG. look at the case of lettering...i thought we were all experts here, including at reading
oh dear!
nice hand prints, sara.....
I'm not talking about the housing department lcg - I am talking about a direct action against the perpetrator. He doesn't need to have been advised or followed instruction. Clearly your 8 years in the housing department trumps my paltry 18 years in the law though, so I stand corrected.

My advice to IamKing is still to investigate further.

Bednobs - the general rule is £5k for the Small Claims limit, but it depends on the type of claim.
mmm...i'm not normally so lairy, sara, but i just happen to be providing ummmm with evening entertainment rather than some other sucker (someone goes running for the report button right about now)
barmaid...i know your history and that you were talking about court/legal/financial matters. you can also get off your high horse now.
thanks DT :o)

lcg.. time to back away from the thread!
too late it seems, Icg.
I haven't reported any of your answers lcg....(just in case you are still reading this)
Barmaid's only has 18 hands. That's not high.
