Just to let you know I am back from a week or so away on an all inclusive break. The food was mediocre but the service and accommodation was superb. If I needed anything it was brought to my room in minutes at the press of a buzzer. The entertainment was a bit lacking but apparently I provided much of it (for the sole amusement of the staff). You must all be familiar with air guitar? Whilst in the grip of a 40+ temperature I invented "air typing." As well as the hand movements, I was shouting"ASDF SPACE" and "I'll have you up to 40 words a minute in no time".

I've just seen a film which was based around the World Air Sex Championships in Austin, Texas. It really exists. It's on the same principle as air guitar, only you're miming something else. Obviously, to win you have to come up with something a lot more inventive than just wiggling your pelvis.

MrsO, when my friend was under anaesthetic in hospital, the surgical team told her afterwards that she'd carried on like Carmen Miranda while she was "out", singing and clicking her fingers and waving her legs.
