What is a thread?

Dont think I am using this properly. Just trying to spell out the dangers to the unsuspecting consumer.

A thread is when you ask a question, people answer and you reply to them. You need to click on 'post an answer' in respnce to someone who has answered instead of asking a new question. That way all your quieries to the one subject are contained in one thread.
